Tablet PC ownership in Canada indicates Anglophone and Francophone Tablet PC owners will approach 2,105,030 by 2031. Tablet apps may reach high at-risk youth between 13 and 25 with positive messages, peer support, mental health hotlines, and other help.
Tablet Children’s Mental Health Campaign
A Children’s Mental Health Ontario (CMHO) “Change the View” Tablet video challenge is possible. A campaign Tablet digital magazine may have mental health art posted by youth on MindYourMind.ca and other mental health websites. Tablet PC digital magazine articles may talk about youth helped at a Children’s Mental Health Centre (CMHC). Parents and professionals (eg. teachers) who work with youth may get digital magazine Tablet apps with personalized mental health information. A Tablet app publication may have best practices for treating children with mental health issues; or tips identifying signs in behaviour indicating a child has depression, anxiety or other mental health issues.
National Children’s Mental Health Week Tablet Campaign
During National Children’s Mental Health Week about 150,000 children and families helped by CMHC may receive a Tablet PC and digital magazine app with mental health videos, images and articles. A Tablet and pre-loaded mental health digital magazine may be given to parents of Ontario youth with a mental health issue. ‘Made for mental health’ Tablets may be sold to teachers, school boards and associations representing professionals working with youth. Digital magazine Tablet apps with images, articles and videos might talk about youth mental health treatment evidence-based best practices, children’s mental health workshops, clinical mental health research projects, and mental health support. Mental health special events, conferences and National Children’s Mental Health Week activities may be video broadcast to parents, professionals and youth on Tablets.
