It is very important to have video embedded into your social networking profile or blog – as I have added on my AnalyticBridge profile: http://www.analyticbridge.com/profile/TomWolfer
The video does not have to be fancy, maybe just a short 1-3 minute introduction, overview of your skills, or just you talking about a project that you have worked on related to your profile or blog.
I recommend the trial version of Adobe Captivate – http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate.html – (which I have written about on Tumbleweed) – to create your home made video that may be uploaded to YouTube.
I like the ability to RSS Feed Tumbleweed Marketing Analytics blog posts onto my AnalyticBridge profile page: http://www.analyticbridge.com/profile/TomWolfer
